Whats that on the bottom ? It almost looks like a Springfield 03 ? On second look it looks like a Mauser variant

One of the first guns I restored as a pre-teen was a spanish mauser. Not that I see one there - but the mausers bring back memories of mine.

YES ! ...........it's a Remington made in Eddystone, PA - I think the other one you mean is Winchester. Markings can vary depending on whether it's an early or late variety. Mine's 179xxx so I'd say it's an early model.

As for the rest it's as follows from top to bottom:

M48 Yugo Mauser (sporterized - and no, I didn't do it)
1925 Tula Mosin Nagant 91/30 (converted Dragoon)
1928 Ishevek Mosin Nagant 91/30
M1917 US Eddystone Endfield 30-06
1916 Swedish Mauser

M1917 are strong as sh!t bolt action. I love them and have 3. My Fav is 30.06.....it can do anything.

You just have to get used to them cocking the hammer spring on the bolt close....not open.
